Visit your local U.S. Post Office
Or use www.usps.com to prepare and print a certified mail label at home
✉️ What to Ask For:
Certified Mail
Return Receipt (green card or electronic)
Tracking (included with Certified Mail)
🛠️ How to Do It In Person:
Fill out the Certified Mail form (Form 3800 – usually available in the lobby)
Attach the Certified Mail sticker to the top of your envelope
Request a Return Receipt if you want proof of delivery (you’ll get a green postcard back or an email notification)
